Group Skills Sessions:
Group sessions for bike Skills:
6-12 riders.
£20 for a 3 lesson pack.
1 class per week for three weeks on Saturday morning at 10 am.
1 1/2 hour per session approximately.
Session will include a pre ride briefing and on bike training session followed by de-briefing and E-mail feedback.
First Course:
- Gear usage lesson. -Learn how to increase your efficiency through the correct use of the gears, changing gear smoothly and when to make gear changes.
- Cadence/pedalling technique lesson. -Learn how to pedal more efficiently through a series of exercises and drills, learn more about cadence and how to monitor and maintain cadence to become faster for longer through efficient power generation.
- Hill Climbing lesson. -Learn how to assess terrain and how best to tackle it using gears and body position more effectively and revise the cadence and gear work done previously.
Second Course:
- Group Riding lesson 1: -Learn how to ride safely and confidently in a group situations, communication in a group.
- Group Riding Lesson 2: -Learn how to ride better as part of a group sharing workloads and taking advantage of other riders and how to work together for more speed.
- Sportive Lesson: -Learn how to approach a sportive with respect to riding in a group situation and how to make best use of the riders around you and some fuelling/nutrition tips to help improve performance over longer rides
