Come and try the new range of Sabbath Bikes at our test ride event at the Pembrokeshire Bikes show room on the 25th of February 2012.
Sabbath has significantly updated their range of Titanium Bikes for 2012. Some of the established models have undergone significant reworking and there’s some new products in there too.
Aspire
New for 2012, the Aspire has been developed to offer riders cost effective access to titanium’s unique ride quality and durability. The frame is straight gauge 3al 2.5v titanium built to the same geometry as the hugely successful Silk Road; its an ideal entry to the titanium bike experience or for those looking for a sportive machine that will last a lifetime. It makes use of classic, narrow gauge round tube profiles, for the no nonsense classic lines of a bike made for metal. Full builds on the bike start at £1599 with Tiagra 10 speed and Fulcrum Racing 7 and £1799 with full 105 and the same Fulcrum wheelset.
September
Sabbath’s incredibly popular and versatile audax bike has had an overhaul for 2012. The clearances have been slightly increased so that the frame can take a 28c tyre with full mudguards. The panniers with a 25kg load capacity are still there, as is the well received geometry and frame designed to give fantastic comfort over long miles.
Silk Road
Way back when Sabbath started in 2007, the Silk Road was lauded by Cycling Weekly as ‘the revelation of the test… the ride was topline’ in their sportive bike of the year review. It’s had some small changes over the years, but for 2012, the only thing that remains is the well balanced sportive geometry. Otherwise, the frames has been massively upgraded. First, there’s a double butted tubeset making a significant weight saving while the tubeset itself has been overhauled to give increased handling and tracking performance without compromising the comfortable ride feel. Other features include discreet, seat stay mounted mudguard eyelets and a replaceable titanium drop out.
Mondays Child
Sabbath’s race bike has been updated significantly this year. It now benefits from the same down tube that’s featured in the flagship Nirvana model, increasing stiffness and performance significantly over the previous incarnation. The frame also features 6al 4v machined headtube, bottom bracket and drop outs adding to a stiffer, racier frame.
Silk Route
Sabbath’s touring machine is unchanged. Reliable, comfortable ride feel with the capacity to load upto 35kg’s of kit and head off into the distance!
